This book is awesome!
I've had a dulcimer for many years and didn't know how to play it. I bought lots of books that I thought might help me learn, but they didn't.
Since purchasing this book, I have been able to start playing. The simple progression of instructions have given me the steps to go forward and actually play. (did I mention I'm also left handed)
This book is not a beginners book, but covers the beginning basics for anyone that's playing. There is an appendix in the back with "everything" that's referenced in the book, an easy to find explanation of whatever you need. Also, if need be, you can easily contact Linda Collins for any clarifications you might need. I did and she was wonderful. What I was stuck on was a mental block only.
I highly recommend this book for anyone, whether they are a beginner or have been playing for years.
